Booking policies

These are the terms you agree to when you send the booking form.

01

The deposit

$200 holds your date. It comes off what you pay on the day, and on a piece that runs over several sessions it comes off the last one.

I hold a deposit for six months. After that it is gone. I am not a bank.

02

Moving or cancelling a date

  • Seven days' notice or more and the deposit moves to the new date.
  • Less than seven days and whether it moves is my call.
  • Cancel and the deposit stays with me.
  • Don't turn up and it is gone. Booking again takes a new one.
03

Running late

An hour late with no word from you and I can count the session as cancelled.

04

What I take on

Anything. I quote small pieces on their own or by the hour, and the minimum is $135. Half days and full days are on the rates page.

05

Touch-ups

Free for ninety days after we last worked on the piece. There is a $20 charge for supplies.

Fingers are the exception. A correction there is always paid, because finger work rarely heals right the first time.

06

Placements I don't tattoo

Faces, necks, feet and palms.

07

When I can't tattoo you

  • You are pregnant.
  • You have a serious skin condition.
  • You are on blood thinners.
  • You have been drinking or are on something.
08

Age and ID

18 and over. Sixteen and seventeen with a parent there in person. Bring government-issued photo ID, any kind.

09

Paying

Cash, and cash is 10% off. E-transfer, credit and debit. Klarna, Afterpay and Affirm are all available. I will take crypto if that is what you have.

10

Who you can bring

One person. No children.

11

Where I work

Whitby, Ontario.

12

Photographs and video

I photograph and film the work I do, including while it is in progress, and I post it. That is how this portfolio exists and how people find me.

Your face is never in it unless you say it can be. If you would rather your tattoo was not posted at all, tell me before we start and it won't be.

13

When I turn a session down

I can decline to tattoo you. Drunk, high or aggressive, and the day is over; so is the deposit. The same goes for anything that puts me or the work at risk.

I can also turn down the piece itself, if it is not for me. If I do that, you get the deposit back.

14

How it heals

A tattoo is a wound and most of how it heals happens after you leave. Follow the aftercare and it heals well. Don't, and I cannot promise you anything about the result.

The free touch-up in section 05 covers a tattoo that was looked after. If it wasn't, I quote the work like any other session and you pay for it.

15

Your information, and the two boxes on the form

The booking form collects your name, email, phone number, what you want tattooed and any reference images you attach. It reaches me as a message, and the site's database keeps a copy. I do not sell it or pass it to anyone else.

The first box is required. Ticking it says you agree to these terms, and that I can answer the request you just sent by text, email or phone.

The second box is optional and is the only thing that lets me message you about openings and cancellations. Reply STOP to any message, or ask me, and it ends. Ask me and I will delete what you sent.
